Debt Relief Path

How it works

This site does one thing: it helps you work out which debt-relief route matches your situation, then points you at someone who can actually do it. We are not that someone.

  1. 1. Answer a few questions

Your province, roughly how much you owe, what kind of debt it is, and how your income and payments are holding up. Nothing about you is stored until you reach the consent step and choose to submit.

  2. 2. See which routes fit

We show you a primary route and the realistic alternatives, with a plain-language explanation of what each one actually involves — including the parts people find unpleasant.

  3. 3. Choose what happens next

If the route is a consumer proposal or non-profit credit counselling, we hand you the public directory and you contact them yourself. If it is debt settlement or a consolidation loan, you can consent to an introduction to a licensed provider.

  4. 4. You decide, with no pressure from us

We do not follow you through the process, and we are not paid on whether you sign anything. Ask any provider for their licence details and their fee schedule in writing before you commit.

What we do not do

  • We do not negotiate with your creditors.
  • We do not receive, hold, or forward your money.
  • We do not charge you anything, at any point.
  • We do not give legal, insolvency, or financial advice.
  • We do not sell introductions to Licensed Insolvency Trustees or non-profit credit counsellors.
